Antique Box B4402
This 19th century British Tunbridgeware box is 11.5” x 8.75” x 5.5”. Beautifully finished exterior with working lock and key, mother of pearl inlays, and lovely papered interior. The box style is named after Tunbridge Wells in Kent, which was a spa town. The local furniture makers created these beautiful inlaid boxes for the many visiting tourists.
